Hello, I'm Héloïse!
I'm a Certified Educator of Infant Massage and the founder of Snuggly Start. I teach parents and caregivers how to use nurturing touch to connect with their babies, understand their cues, and support their well-being.
As a Psychomotor Therapist with a degree from France, I bring a deep understanding of the connection between the mind and body to my infant massage practice. I believe that nurturing touch can help strengthen the bond between parents and their children and create a loving, supportive environment from the very beginning.
Through private and group classes, I love helping families discover the joy of connecting with their babies through touch.
My Story
My journey with infant massage began in 2019, when I became certified with Infant Massage USA. Since then, I have massaged my three daughters regularly, starting with my youngest from the day she was born. Through this experience, I have personally discovered how rewarding nurturing touch can be and how it can strengthen the bond between parents and their children, even as they grow older.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of teaching numerous families through private and group infant massage classes, both in their homes and at community locations. One of the things I love most is hearing parents share how much more connected they feel with their babies after taking a class. That is what motivates me to continue sharing this practice with families.
Before becoming an infant massage educator, I worked as a Psychomotor Therapist, supporting children with disabilities and developmental difficulties. My training and experience continue to shape the way I teach, helping me adapt my approach to the individual needs of babies and their families.
Since 2018, I have also enjoyed working as an early childhood teacher with young children and their parents through the Park District of Oak Park, where I live. This experience has given me even more opportunities to support families and observe the importance of connection, communication, and nurturing relationships in early childhood.
Today, through Snuggly Start, I bring together my professional experience, my passion for nurturing touch, and my personal experience as a mother to help parents build a stronger connection with their babies.
